How to Create an HDR Image in Lightroom

There has been a lot of buzz around Lightroom’s new HDR function. Some seem to love it, others less so. There’s little doubt that this new feature has added an extra layer of depth to Lightroom. Should Adobe choose to develop this HDR tool further, I’m sure many will be abandoning other HDR programs in favour of having it all under one roof.

Many to thanks to Phlearn for this excellent tutorial showing us how to create an HDR in Lightroom.

Hi, No offence intended towards you JM but in the video around the 25 second mark the guy asks if we have been living under a rock but he should be saying “I have been living under a rock”! WHY? because if I see another image of that antelope canyon place again used for an HDR tutorial i’m gonna scream, there must be another place in USA apart from there?
Thanks
Russ

Dave, tripod is not always necessary but if you want best results and if you want to be safe, you will definitely use a tripod
